Information on US Soccer’s 13U Ball Recommendation
Here is a LINK to US Soccer’s recommendation regarding ball size and mass for the 13U age group as updated during the US Soccer 2023 AGM.The US Soccer recommendation is not mandated. There are multiple factors involved in making a transition from current practices to a new recommendation. EDP Soccer will continue to use and allow use of Size 5 balls in the 13U age group for play in EDP Soccer managed leagues and events. EDP Soccer will provide an update for Fall 2025.
